The collaboration between the Swedish Hockey League and Winpos enters itse seventh year. SHL has 12 arenas, with about 650 points of sale.
It has now been six years since the collaboration between the Swedish Hockey League and Winpos began. Therefore, we are very proud of the agreement extension that the partners have now agreed on. The collaboration means, that Winpos will continue to deliver its system and services to the SHL club venues.
In addition to Winpos Arena, the collaboration includes hardware and peripherals for POS, kiosks, restaurants and bars. The ambition has been, and is, to create a secure system solution that has been optimized to meet the needs of hockey for fast and secure transactions, during very short periods of time. At the same time, emphasis is placed on new functions, which can increase club revenues, as well as create completely new revenue streams.
Arena sports, where the sales periods usually consist of half-time or period breaks, are dependent on a functioning POS system, even when the network fails or is affected by interruptions. This is one of Winpos’ strengths, which the elite sport and hockey put great emphasis on.
In addition to basic functionality, a Winpos Arena delivery offers clubs new features such as self-service terminals, advanced stock management functionality, mobile sales apps, arena cards, multiple payment terminals linked to the same POS, and much more.
The fact, that we now sign an extension and enter the seventh year of this collaboration, I see as a sign of our long-term strategy and vision being fully in line with market expectations. Our ambition is to be able to offer modern and innovative solutions at the forefront of the industry
