VAT rate change enters into force on 1 January 2025
In Finland, the VAT rate for certain goods and services will rise from 10% to 14% as of 1.1.2025.

The new general VAT rate of 25.5% comes into force in Finland from 1 September 2024.

P&O Ferries
Winpos is collaborating with P&O Ferries in the Ship of the Future project, where P&O Ferries’ goal is to renew the maritime travel concept and remain an operator at the forefront of technological development.The Winpos POS solution consists of multiple channels for ordering, such as traditional POS terminals, self-service kiosks, mobile apps, and tablets for mobile selling.

Rolls Korpelankulma customers pay using a self-service checkout. The Rolls chain is a long-term customer of Winpos. Rolls Administration Manager Tommi Oksanen is pleased with the Rolls self-service solution in Korpelankulma and hopes that self-service checkouts will become more common in all Rolls restaurants in the future.
