New Managing Director for Oy Winpos Ab

Mikael Smedman, who has served as the Managing Director of Oy Winpos Ab since 2016, will step down from his position on 18.8.2025. After a career of over 35 years within the point-of-sale (POS) industry, Smedman has decided to reduce his commitments. He will for the time being remain with the company in an advisory role, but will completely step aside during 2026.

Mikael Smedman is replaced by Jonas Ekegren, who will thus serve as the new Managing Director of Oy Winpos Ab from 18.8.2025. Ekegren comes from Sweden. He has extensive and solid experience in leading similar companies within the IT industry.
