Changes to Winpos UK Support Contact Details
As a result of changes within the Winpos organizational structure, support services for UK customers have been transferred to Winpos Group.
This change will not affect the support services you receive, and there will be no interruption to service. The only change is our contact details.
Our Helsinki Office Is Moving
Winpos’s Helsinki office will move to new, more modern and functional premises at Hiomotie 6, 00380 Helsinki on August 1, 2026. The new office will remain in Pitäjänmäki, just a stone’s throw from our current premises. The move will not affect our services, and we will continue to operate as normal.
New Managing Director for Oy Winpos Ab
Olli Pekka Vanhanen has been appointed as the new CEO of Oy Winpos Ab and will assume his position on April 1, 2026.
Vanhanen has served as Sales Director at Winpos since 2011 and brings extensive and solid experience in the POS systems industry, as well as in managerial and leadership roles.
Tax Change Instructions (Sweden)
Taxes for provisions are temporarily being lowered from 12 to 6 percent in Sweden, starting on April 1st, 2026, and ending on December 31st, 2027.
The change requires companies to update their cash register systems and accounting.

VAT Change Instructions 2026
The VAT on goods and services subject to the reduced 14 percent tax rate will decrease to 13.5 percent at the beginning of 2026.
Hotel Red & Green
For over a decade, the hotel has been utilizing the Winpos POS system in conjunction with Planet’s (formerly Hoist) PMS HotSoft hotel reservation system. Through its experiences, the hotel has actively contributed to the development of the Winpos Hospitality POS solution.

Mikael Smedman, who has served as the Managing Director of Oy Winpos Ab since 2016, will step down from his position on 18.8.2025.
